The head of the Kurdistan region, Massoud Barzani, on Monday, on the need to send the central government the region's share of the public budget to enable the province to pay his debts, and stressed that the Kurdistan region has the ability to oil export independently if did not receive its share, and as pointed out that the threat from al Daash is not over yet, the Hungarian President Viktor Orellan pointed out that the Kurdistan region is a "safe" area.
Said Massoud Barzani, during a joint press conference with Hungarian President Viktor Orban in Hungary and I followed, "time", "The Kurdistan Regional Government is committed to the terms of the agreement signed between Erbil and Baghdad, and in return, the federal government's commitment to the terms of the agreement and send the share of the Kurdistan region to enable the province to pay its debts accumulated ".
Barzani stressed that "the Kurdistan Region has the ability to export oil and sell it independently and pay its debts if it does not receive its share of the budget."
He praised Barzani on "the role of Hungary in support of the Kurdistan region in its war against (Daash)," thanks in advance "of the Hungarian Parliament and the people."
Barzani stressed that "the threat from al Daash not over yet," pointing out that "Hungary was an important support to the Kurdistan region at this stage."
He said Barzani was "awaiting future fruitful between Hungary and the Kurdistan region," stressing "the importance of coordination between the two sides."
For his part, the Hungarian President Viktor Orban said that "the Kurdistan region represents the region's security," stressing "his country's support to the Kurdistan region, and the strengthening of relations between the two parties."
