Al-Maliki and Al-Jaafari, to discuss a National Alliance

The Chairman of the National Alliance of Foreign Minister Ibrahim Jaafari and Vice President Nouri al-Maliki's National Alliance and activated to continue its role in supporting State-building, with the concerted efforts of the parties confirmed the Alliance to fulfil its responsibilities.
Jaafari's Office said in a statement, the Agency has received news of the news (and brother) that "the President of the National Alliance and Foreign Minister Ibrahim Al-Jaafari met at his Office in Baghdad, Vice President of the Republic Mr. Nouri al-Maliki", stating that "the two sides discussed the political and security situation and the victories achieved by the armed forces and members of the popular crowd in the b against gangs daash, and conditions across the region and the world."
The Office said that "the National Alliance rally was evaluated, and activated to continue its role in supporting the building of the State and Parliament, and Government institutions," he said, adding that "both sides stressed the importance of preserving the unity of Iraq, and the concerted efforts of all parties National Alliance for advancement of its responsibilities, and to continue the dialogue with the political forces to restore security, stability and prosperity to Iraq."
The Presidency of the National Alliance remained vacant since former Chairman Ibrahim Al-Jafari took over the functions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in (8 September 2014), and consultations are continuing between the components of the Coalition to elect a new President for the Alliance.
