Twilight News / US House of Representatives on Friday approved a national defense budget for 2016 and one of its clauses that stipulate the need to arm the Kurds and the Sunnis in Iraq directly and separately from the central government in Baghdad.
Budget allocated $ 612 billion to the US Department of Defense, the number of votes won totaled 269 compared to 151 out of 435 dismissive and 12 abstained from voting in the absence of three others, according to TAP Anatolian and seen by Twilight News.
The budget set aside $ 715 million for security aid to Iraq but required to grant 25% of them to the Kurds and the Sunnis in Iraq directly and separately from the Iraqi government.
