Daily wage workers in Babylon demonstrating to demand overdue dues

Long-Presse / Babylon: Dozens of daily wage workers in the Water Resources Department Babil province, on Sunday, to demand overdue dues for five months, as demanded install specialists as needed for the department to them, the Council of Babylon received their demands and promised to lift it to the ministries of water and financial resources.

The state departments in Babylon contracted for years with staff on a daily basis wages and temporary contracts because of the lack of grades and the need for those departments to staff from various fields they charge a pittance for their services they provide.
And it includes state ministries thousands of employees in temporary contracts or daily wages of those who have not been proofed on the permanent staffing so far, despite the long years of service, up to a decade or more.
