Al-Zubaidi and a German official discuss rehabilitation of the Iraqi railway sector and the double line railway between several provinces

{Baghdad: Euphrates News} Transport Minister Baqir al-Zubaidi met with Ambassador Christian Berger's special envoy to encourage foreign trade and investment in the German Foreign Ministry to Iraq and economic delegation accompanying him The two sides discussed the rehabilitation of the Iraqi railway sector and the line dual railway between several provinces.
A statement by the Office Zubaidi agency {Euphrates News} received a copy of it on "The meeting discussed bilateral, economic and trade relations between the two countries, especially the rehabilitation of railway Iraqi sector and especially the double line railway between Baghdad and Basra, Karbala and Najaf."
He called al-Zubaidi, the statement said German companies to participate in major global Consultative Conference to be held at the stage where commissioned a number of specialized companies in the consultative conferences to create and prepare projects and studies that will go through the conference, which will hopefully be held in Baghdad or Basra around the port of Faw and rehabilitation of the railway sector .
The statement said "the ambassador expressed the readiness of the German government to support the rehabilitation of Iraq, especially the Iraqi transport sector in addition to the proposal to establish the Faculty of Logistics at the University of Basra by the German side," .anthy
