The Presidency of the Council of Representatives decided to hold a meeting on Sunday with the heads and representatives of parliamentary blocs to discuss the National Guard Law.
The parliamentary source said that "the meeting will discuss ways of consensus on the bill and resolve the problems it for approval in the parliament." The Council voted on a draft law on ratification of the Convention in the field of environmental protection between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the Government of the State of Kuwait and submitted by the Committees on Foreign Relations, Health and Environment Law, which aims for cooperation between the Governments of the two countries in the field of protecting and improving the environment, and conservation of natural resources and sustainable development.
