Fall of Mosul Committee prepare written questions to Maliki, Barzani and Nujaifi

Shafaq News / The Inquiry Committee on the fall of Mosul city has identified three days before the parliamentary members to complete the written questions related to the Vice President of the republic , Nuri al- Maliki , Osama al-Nujaifi and the President of Kurdistan region, Massoud
Barzani. “The presidency of the Committee has informed members of the investigating committee on the fall of Mosul city on the need to deliver the investigations questions with Nuri al-Maliki , Osama al-Nujaifi and Massoud Barzani during three days as the Committee must classify it and sent to those concerned,” The committee’s member Abbas al-Khuzai told “Shafaq News”. Al- Khuzai added that "the Committee will consider getting answers from the three officials on the questions that will be asked to them on the events of Mosul." The sudden collapse of a large units of Iraqi forces during hours in front of
a few thousand of ISIS elements has raised debate about what happened
precisely in Mosul, after reports indicated the withdrawal of the army
commanders while soldiers were left to their fate.
The parliament has formed last November a parliamentary committee to
investigate the causes and consequences of the fall of Mosul city by ISIS
last June.
The Committee began its work in hosting a number of security chiefs,
including the former commander of the ground forces, the commander of
Nineveh operations in addition to the former commanders of brigades ,
military units and a number of members of Nineveh Provincial Council
