Germany would like the expansion of economic exchanges with Iraq

Follow-up - and babysit -The Special Envoy for promoting German foreign trade in Iraq Christian Berger for his country's desire to expand economic exchanges with Iraq in spite of the current difficulties.
A statement from the German embassy received news agency public opinion (and babysit) a copy of it, said Berger, a former ambassador to Iraq, visited with a delegation of senior German businessmen on 19 and 20 this May and met with Deputy Prime Minister Ruz Nuri Shaways and Finance Minister Hoshyar Zebari and Oil Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi and Transport Minister Baqir al-Zubaidi.
The statement added: "The German companies are reliable products gained good reputation in Iraq, and some commercial relations have been going on for decades but bureaucratic obstacles and go long periods before decisions sometimes lead to the complexity of the work of German companies."
He pointed out that "German companies are constantly present in the Baghdad International Fair, as he last April about 40 Iraqi businessmen traveled to the Hannover Fair in Germany to form business relationships with German companies, while German economic offices operating in Baghdad and Erbil as a point of first contact for German companies and Iraqi.
