National Forces Union waves to withdraw from Abadi’s government

Shafaq News / The National Forces Union has waved on Wednesday, to withdraw from the current government headed by Haider al-Abadi, and to reconsider the overall agreement between the national and Kurdistan alliances’ agreements because of what he called a lack of commitment to the first two alliances on rights of Diyala province.
A member of the National Forces Union , MP Mohammad al-Karbouli said in a statement received by Shafaq News that "what happened from the National Alliance of not committing with the political agreements towards Diyala local government cannot be described, but as insisting on knocking the last nail in the coffin of the political consensus “.
"The lack of commitment by the partners on political agreements and insisting on blocking the elections rights will make us obliged to reconsider our agreements with the overall national and Kurdish coalitions including the formation of a partnership government headed by Dr. Abadi ".
Karbouli added that "after more than 10 months after the formation of the government , the political agreement is still not applied, no national guards were formed, nor national reconciliation and clans are not armed, and we strongly believe that the political agreements won’t be implemented “.
Diyala Council has elected on Tuesday , Muthana al-Tamimi leader in Badr Organization affiliated to the National Alliance as Diyala governor after receiving 15 votes out of 16 votes.
The voting session was attended by 13 members of the National Alliance, three members of Kurdistan Alliance. Diyala Council consists of 13 seats for Shiites, the National Alliance of Diyala , 13 members of "Sunni" Iraqya Diyala alliance and three members of Kurdistan Alliance.
Iraqya Diyala alliance affiliated to National Forces Union considered electing , Muthanna al-Tamimi as Governor of Diyala who is from the National Alliance bloc as a breach of the agreements among the political blocs, stressing that the province's post is the share of al-Iraqiya according to political agreements
