Said Commander Elissa Smith, director of public affairs for the Office of the Minister of Defense for the Middle East, for that «contacts are continuing between the Pentagon and the Iraqi government to accelerate the delivery of two thousand anti-tank aircraft missiles (AT4) which is expected to reach Iraq early next June».
In remarks «Middle East» Smith confirmed the work to expedite the processing and delivery and other military equipment to provide anti-tank weapons, and a lot of support, weapons and ammunition, equipment (which are used to detect explosives) to counter IEDs forces organizing Daash and supporting Iraqi forces.
and about the US military's efforts to train troops Iraqi, said responsible Middle East Affairs and the Office of Secretary of Defense: «constantly working to improve the ability of Iraqi forces in the battlefield and to improve their capacity to communicate with the headquarters in Baghdad or Irbil in the north with».
