Qatar reopen its embassy in Baghdad

Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari said Friday that Qatar will reopen its embassy in Baghdad.
Jaafari said at a joint news conference with his Qatari counterpart Khalid al-Attiyah said the two countries agreed to open the Qatari Embassy in Baghdad to begin the resumption of diplomatic work.
For his part, Al-Attiyah said he had discussed with Iraqi officials the serious challenges facing the region.
Saudi Arabia was also indicated in the earlier intention to re-open its embassy in Baghdad and called on Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to visit the Kingdom.
