Twilight News / launched in Arbil on Friday, the activities of the Supreme Judicial Council Conference in Kurdistan under the slogan "conference to develop the judicial system in the province of Kurdistan", which prepared him for more than a year, with the participation of a group of civil society organizations and experts in the judiciary.
The head of the Supreme Judicial Council in Kurdistan Ahmed Abdullah Zubair, in an interview with Twilight News, they are seeking through this conference to achieve set targets, including determining the legal shortcomings and submit proposals to amend the group laws relating to the elimination and modification of the Public Prosecution Law and the preparation of new laws for new crimes in the region, such as human trafficking and money laundering.
He said they are demanding the formation of the judicial police and legislation laws imposed on all citizens to appear before the courts.
"We must reconsider the immunity because it does not mean not to attend the person who has immunity, and raise the professional level of judges and court officials, and to identify appropriate financial allocations judicial institutions and the protection of judges bring them even after retirement."
Zubair and stressed "the need to develop a special court for journalists and protect them and deal with them in publication cases according to the journalist in Iraqi Kurdistan labor law."
