Parliament reiterates its respect for the vote on impeachment, Iraq

(Independent) a. The Press Office of the House speaker, Salim Al-jubouri, said Thursday that the Presidency of the House of representatives were willing to await the decision of dismissal of the Governor of Nineveh atheel nujaifi, taking into account the circumstances of the country and especially the Nineveh province occupied by terrorist bands daash.
The statement said that the Presidency confirms that the sacking came by a majority vote of the members of the House of representatives, and that the Presidency of Parliament respect the will of the members of the Council and the resolutions under the Iraqi Constitution and rules of procedure for itself.
At the same time called on all Iraqis and the people of Nineveh that do not affect such decisions on their will and their determination to prepare for battle and clearing its soil of Burgess and terrorism.
