Calls to protect financial deposits in Iraq

Baghdad/ Iraq TradeLink: Iraqi parliamentary Economy and Investment Commission called the government to finalize a law that will protect the financial deposits.
The Commission believes that this law will encourage the companies to deposit their funds in local banks.
MP Najeeba Najeeb, member of the Commission, pointed a state of "mistrust" between the citizens, companies and investors and the local banks because there is no law that will protect their funds in the country.
