US Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter said that his country has no intention of re-occupation of Iraq or the deployment of large ground forces in the context of the war against al-Daash.
Carter said in an interview with the BBC that it was due to the conviction of the United States that it does not constitute the best way to defeat the organization on a permanent basis.
He added that inflict a comprehensive defeat organization is entrusted Iraqi government forces alone.
