Electricity: will extinguish the lines of power station Wasit next Saturday and will lose the 1500 MW

It announced the Ministry of Electricity, Wednesday, it will lose the 1500 MW after turning off the power lines in the station Wasit on Saturday, noting that it would negatively affect the processing power provinces during the fire.
A spokesman for the minister Fathi Mohammed in an interview with Alsumaria News that "the ministry will on Saturday turn off the line thermal Wasit - Amin 400 kV line thermal Wasit No. 1400 kV collector powers No. 2400 kV in Wasit thermal station" , noting that "fire will be for a period of 7 hours and five o'clock to twelve o'clock." Fathi said that "the goal is for the purpose of introducing the thermal Wasit line - Wasit No. 2400 KV," noting that "fire will lead to the loss of the system in 1500 MW of power, which would negatively affect the processing power provinces during the fire."
And the Ministry of Electricity announced last May 27 that Baghdad suffers from a lack of power transmission lines and provide them with no more than 3,500 megawatts, noting that the solution to this problem will be after the summer months.
As announced in the (April 29, 2015) to the national electricity system lost during the past few days energies amounted to 2050 MW due to rising temperatures, in addition to the low gas pressure and the scarcity equipped by the Ministry of Fuel
