Kurdistan Commission postpone the presidential election until further notice

Arbil - Iraq Press - June 17: The Supreme Commission for Elections in Kurdistan announced on Wednesday postponed a scheduled in August next elections for the presidency of the region lack adequate budget as well as lack of time and lack of its notification so in a timely manner.
She continued in a statement that "the Board of Commissioners emergency meeting held today, which decided not to conduct regional presidency elections on 20 August next to a lack of budget and sufficient time for the elections," noting that "the Office of the elections and referendums in Kurdistan, confirmed earlier they need to six months to organize elections in the presidency of the province if the stressful circumstances in this direction it could reduce the period to three months at a minimum.
