The Iraqi Central Bank, announced Saturday, halting the withholding tax and customs secretariats by banks on dollar conversions.
The Bank said in a statement/information/copy, "the Central Bank decided to stop withholding tax and customs secretariats by banks owed dollar conversions.
He added that "this action was effective from 18th of June, where customs and tax fees are met in accordance with the law."
Central Bank Governor Ali al-allaq, last Thursday, that the decision to abolish fees and taxes will reduce the dollar heavily, pointing to the approval of the crisis management cell bank's proposal to delete the custom duties and tax on buying dollar. Finished/25 x
