Smart card is an electronic card based on the concept of transferring real cash into electronic cash fixed on a sim card to facilitate cash exchange.
Smart card ( QI ) is similar to other credit cards recognized worldwide with essential difference that the smart card deals with balances without direct contact with the server which is called ( off line ) to facilitate business in regions of no good telecommunication networks. Besides, the card depends on fingerprint as a substitute of the Serial No. in processes of electronic cash transfer. (iqdt)
Our Bank pursued this modern technique in order to facilitate cashing pensions as a first stage. The retired employee can get his/ her pensions from any branch of Rasheed or Rafideen banks, noting that the smart card contains ( 255 ) banking or non- banking activities and one of them is cashing pensions.
Pursuing the fingerprint provides to bank and any party related to it. The possibility of getting clean data base unrepeatable through fingerprint matching in case of inability of referring to written data.
