The leader of the State of Law Coalition MP Ali al-Adeeb, Tuesday, that the bloc with the approval of the National Guard law in general, but there is no agreement on some details that within the paragraphs of the law, expressing his fear of giving the powers of local governments that have military special forces for some areas .
Adeeb said in a statement to "light News" today, "The Iraqi Constitution prohibits the establishment of military forces in isolation from the powers of the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces."
He MP, said that "the idea of a branched forces under multiple names will weaken the military establishment, noting that" the rule of law rejects the Iraqi army division of the leaders of branching and thus lead to the division of Iraq into sectarian and ethnic regions. "
It stated that there are serious efforts of the political parties in Parliament to get to the final version of the Law of the National Guard and the agreement on the disputed paragraphs and then submit a draft law to the Presidency of the Council of Representatives for a vote during the next phase.
