The US Department of Defense / Pentagon / confirmed “the difficulty of the war against the terrorist organization Daash, expected to continue for years until its expulsion from Iraq.
Pentagon’s spokesman Colonel Steve Warren said in a press statement it was “a difficult war, we said a year ago that our expectations about fighting to expel Daash from Iraq for years … Yes, years.”
He added, “Daash has lost more than 25% of the land it occupied inside Iraq, and we destroyed thousands of its equipment, and we believe we are making an impact.”
The United States is leading an international coalition to fight the terrorist organization Daash which occupies regions and cities in Iraq and Syria ./ End
