Belarus, Iraq in Talks on Healthcare

The Ambassador of Belarus to Turkey and Iraq (non-resident), Andrei Savinykh, is paying a working visit to Baghdad this week.
On 1 July he held meetings with Iraqi Minister of Health, Adila Hammoud Hussein, and with the Iraqi Foreign Ministry.
During the meeting with Adila Hammoud Hussein the parties discussed the possibility of expanding cooperation in the field of health care, including the supply of Belarusian medicines to Iraq.
The Ambassador provided information about healthcare services that may be provided to Iraqi citizens in Belarus, as well as the possibility of sending teams of Belarusian doctors to work in local medical institutions.
The Iraqi Minister was invited to pay an official visit to Belarus.
