"Jaafari calls on Washington to comply with the agreements signed between the two sides"

Twilight News / Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari on Sunday called on the United States to abide by the agreements concluded between the two sides would contribute to strengthening relations between the two sides.
An interview with al-Jaafari came during a meeting with the US ambassador in Baghdad, Stuart Jones, according to a statement the Iraqi foreign minister responded to Twilight News.
The statement said that the meeting, they discussed "developments in the political and security developments in the file and the war against Daash terrorist gangs, as well as the situation of the displaced families and the progress of the bilateral relations between Iraq and the United States."
He said al-Jaafari, "the need for parking all countries of the world by the Iraqi people, which is fighting on its own behalf in defense of its sovereignty, dignity and territorial integrity, and on behalf of the peoples of the world", calling on all to "provide military and humanitarian and service assistance and to be up to the challenges experienced by Iraq."
Iraq's Foreign Minister also stressed the "need to adhere to the agreements signed between Iraq and the United States, which would contribute to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries."
Linked to Iraq with the United States in 2008 signed the Convention on the strategic framework and painted features political, security and economic relations between the two parties.
The agreement paved the way for the withdrawal of US troops from Iraq in late 2009 after the ouster of the former regime. It also features a arming the Iraqi army decades.
Baghdad has complained of delays in Washington in the implementation of its obligations related to armament contracts, particularly with regard to heavy weapons and warplanes fighter.
But the US ambassador said during the meeting, "his country's support to the Iraqi government in its war against Daash terrorist gangs", referring to "continuous coordination between the international coalition and Iraqi forces, and provide the necessary supplies to help Iraq."
