The head of the Commission on oil and energy parliamentary Iaraz Abdullah on Saturday, the Kurdistan region has not been without its oil to the Convention Center with the government since the beginning of the month of July, stressing the need to resolve disputes and negotiation between the governments of Arbil and Baghdad, including the extradition of oil and receipt of dues.
Abdullah said in a statement to / scales News / that "there is no agreement not to hand over oil revenues to the federal government but by the oil agreement is the delivery of oil from the region to the Sumo and the reimbursement of the province amounting to 17% of Iraq's total revenue."
He added that "recently soured relations between the Governments of the region and brought to the center each side accusing the other party of being responsible for the non-application of the Convention", adding that "the provincial government since the seventh day to hand over the oil-for benefits."
Abdullah called for "the two governments to resolve their differences and sit down at the negotiating table to solve the problems between the region and the Iraqi government regarding oil and revenues."
The Council of Ministers decided, in (2 December 2014), to approve the oil agreement between Baghdad and the Kurdistan region which provides for the delivery of the region no less than 250 thousand barrels of oil a day to Baghdad for the purpose of export, after reaching the Kurdish delegation headed by Nechirvan Barzani, with Iraqi government an agreement on the region's share in the budget and export Alinvt.anthy 29/4 e
