Iraq signed an agreement with the World Bank loan

Iraq and the World Bank signed an agreement Sunday under which Baghdad receives $ 350 million allocated for the reconstruction of the liberated areas from the control of militants Daash, the first of its kind received by Iraq and comes as part of $ 1.7 billion provided by the Bank.
Finance Minister Hoshyar Zebari said that one-third of the amount will be allocated to repair roads and bridges almost to repair the electricity, water and sewage networks and the like.
Zebari added that a soft loan for 15 years with an interest rate of only 1% rate and the period of exemption for a period of five years.
The Bank is currently creating another loan worth one billion dollars to ease the budget deficit.
