Odierno: eliminate Daash in Iraq needed (20) years

Baghdad/Iraq News Network-the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of staff, Gen. Raymond Odierno, said he believed that the defeat of the Islamic State "planning" may take "daash ten to twenty years", further than expected,
the White House said in an interview that the defeat "is going to take a lot longer" than many believe.
He noted that they need more than military operations to defeat the Organization, citing economic and diplomatic actions that we need to meet the challenge of "daash."
General Odierno defended on training local forces, as the best way To combat the group, over the deployment of us soldiers on the ground, a view which is consistent with the view of the administration.
