Iraq participates in the Ministerial Council of OPEC Fund

Finance Minister, Hoshyar Zebari, took part in the Ministerial Council of the 36th meeting of OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) .
According to a statement by the Ministry of Finance, “ The agenda was approved and the financial statements was ratified in order to strengthen the financial cooperation of countries members.
(OFID) consist of 13 countries members are Algeria, Ecuador, Gabon, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates and Venezuela.
OFID resources comes from contributions and voluntary contributions from member countries in OPEC and investments , loans of members, Iraq’s share of OPEC Fund amounts 4.47%. / End
