Jubouri confirms to Carter on the importance of security and military cooperation between the two countries

The President of the House of Representatives Saleem al-Jubouri, on Thursday, US Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter on the need to strengthen the security and military cooperation between Iraq and the United States.
Information Office of the Jabouri said in a statement received / scales News /, a copy of it, that the last "received in his office today, US Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter and his accompanying delegation During the meeting, they reviewed the latest developments in the situation in Iraq and the region and the efforts of the international coalition in the war on Daash" , explaining that "the meeting discussed in detail the progress of the ongoing military operations in Anbar province, and the efforts exerted by the United States in the field of arming and rehabilitation of tribal members."
He added that "it is necessary to enhance security and military cooperation between Iraq and the United States, especially in the areas of arming and training in addition to the importance of maintaining security in the liberated areas."
