Parliamentary services: investment law currently restricts adopted Investor

BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network (IMN) - Member of the Commission services and investment Attorney Suhad Fadhil al-Obeidi stressed the importance of including the new investment law some facilities to foreign investors and local and attract capital for Iraq and the protection of Iraqi investments abroad, indicating that the current law restricts the investor.
He said al-Obeidi's (IMN) "The investment law of important laws and should be given a large area during the current period, which is the stage of building for Iraq," noting that "the old investment law currently approved restricts local and foreign investors."
She added that "the Economic Commission put some finishing touches on the investment law and give a large area for the investor to take advantage of its investment in Iraq and open the doors to investors from countries of the world and attract capital, especially after the economic crisis experienced by the country."
The House of Representatives has finished in the twenty-eighth of the month of April the second reading of the draft law of the Second Amendment to the Investment Law No. 13 of 2006.
