Parliamentary Finance Committee: “Iraqi reserves approaching $ 80 billion”

The House Finance Committee denied that the Government has used the cash reserves to bridge the budget deficit, saying that the cash reserve is $ 69 billion added to about 10 trillion dinars, bringing the total reserve to about $ 80 billion. The Committee, also, denied that the Budget is financed by The Central Bank.
The Committee has expressed surprise from the Central Bank to sell foreign currency, more than the limits laid down by the budget.
