Twilight news block called Badr al Qasim al-araji parliamentary deputies Saturday to speed up the adoption of a law for a national ID card.
Al-araji said in a statement to the twilight news, that "national card will save time and effort and they got rid of the routine and make money because of the routine and the abrogations demands requested by the official circles of citizens."
Industry stressed the need to design this card is discreet so cannot be forged, adding that "the presence of one card is easy to control and prevent forgery and used for unlawful purposes."
The Secretariat sent to the Council of Ministers on Thursday national card bill approved by the Cabinet to the Ministry of State for the provinces and the House of representatives.
And civil status and identity are Iraqi citizenship certificate of the most significant documents in all Iraqi transactions in official circles of the Iraqi Government, as well as former and current regimes imposed by additional identification papers such as housing and ration card.
According to observers and academics that many Auditors of governmental departments and institutions suffer from obstacles and numerous supporting documents required to complete their transactions or obtain their material and documents.
