Iraq invest every opportunity to clarify the battle being waged humanitarian suffering of the Iraqi people size.
BAGHDAD / Obelisk: Office announced Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari, on Thursday, the last to leave the country on his way to Canada to attend the regular meeting of the international coalition against al Daash and discuss relations between the two countries.
The office said in a statement, "The Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari left, today, to Canada to attend the regular meeting of the international coalition against al Daash and discussed bilateral relations between Iraq and Canada."
The statement added that "the Foreign Minister will hold meetings with officials in Canada and the Iraqi community and the embassy series there."
The statement quoted al-Jaafari as saying before his departure to Canada, he said that "Iraq invests every opportunity to clarify the battle waged by the humanitarian suffering of the Iraqi people, the size," adding that it would review the "security and military developments in the fields of combating terrorism."
Jaafari expressed hope that "the international community understands the situation in Iraq and responds to the request for assistance on various security, political and service levels."
