Parliament ends first reading of banning Baath Party Law draft

Shafaq News / The Iraqi Parliament has completed in its regular session on Thursday and held the first reading the draft of banning Baath party , dissolved entities as well as racism, terror and infidels and activities Law.
A parliamentary source told Shafaq News, that the first reading of the draft law has ended at today’s meeting, which was held under the chairmanship of the Parliament Speaker , Saleem al-Jubouri, and attended by more than 200 members of various parliamentary blocs.
The project of banning Baath Party was submitted by three parliamentary committees, namely: reconciliation committee, accountability and justice, and security and defense committee, and the Legal committee.
