Parliamentary Economy: customs tariff will increase the state treasury and support domestic production

BAGHDAD / ... stressed member of the parliamentary Economic Committee Najiba Najib, Wednesday, that the application of the customs tariff formally will increase the public treasury of the state money in addition to encouraging domestic production.
She said Najib's "Eye Iraq News" that "the decline in global oil prices led to a decline in fiscal revenue earned by Iraq, the Iraqi government had to increase its financial resources through the application of customs tariffs on goods and services imported to the country."
She explained that "the application of the customs tariff will increase the public treasury of the state and that helps the continuation of government grants for staff salaries and other financial obligations of money in addition to the application of customs tariffs will encourage the local production of the country after the spread of imported goods in the Iraqi market significantly."
She Najib that "during the meetings of the parliamentary Economic Committee with the General Administration of Customs became clear that the customs tariff will be applied at the beginning of August now." It ended 4
