Basra Governorate Council during its regular voice held today in the presence of three members of the House of Representatives to reject the application of the customs tariff law in Basra ports and bind ports Ttaibgah and staff not to be bound by this decision.

For his part, Chairman of the Economic Committee in the provincial council Aqeel al-Khalidi said the provincial council stipulated for the application of tariff implementation of the resolution in the Kurdistan region outlets law, but the Council of Ministers turned a blind eye to this requirement established by the Council.

Meanwhile, a deputy for the province of Basra Mazen Mezni that representatives of Basra in the House of Representatives standing with the decision taken by the judge of the provincial council and the discontinuation of the customs tariff law.
Mezni said in a statement to Radio tow that representatives of Basra stand with all the demands of the demonstrators in the province, particularly the customs tariff and all the legitimate demands made by the protesters before the law.
Indicating that all the religious leaders instructed officials in the Iraqi government to take to the street and meet the demands of the demonstrators and to stand by the citizen.
