Zebari company Shell: The government is keen to fulfill its obligations

BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network (IMN) - Finance Minister Hoshyar Zebari received today the President of Shell Oil Company in Iraq Hans Naikemb and his accompanying delegation.
The Ministry of Finance explained that, "During the meeting, they discussed the company's operations in the oil and gas industry field, as well as securing financial benefits to oil companies operating in Iraq."
She stressed, "the government's keenness to fulfill their obligations in this aspect for the development of corporate activities, so as to ensure the promotion and development of the oil industry, particularly with respect to reducing the associated gas from oil fields, gas combustion, in cooperation and coordination with the Iraqi competent authorities and the World Bank in accordance with the timing set for that."
On the other hand, Zebari stressed "the importance of international oil companies take advantage of local employment in the field of labor and employment."
