The Iraqi government stops salaries of some employees

Shafaq News / The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers said in a statement on Thursday directed to all ministries and departments not associated with the Ministry and provincial councils to work with the Council’s resolution No. (303) on the salaries of employees in areas outside the government control.
According to the text of the Council of Ministers’ Decision which was adopted during the last meeting held on 4th of August, 2015 that the ministries organize lists of employees who are working in areas that fall under the federal government’s control as the competent minister has a responsibility to stop exchange of salaries if proved the employees dealings with ISIS terrorist gangs.
The resolution also included prevention of paying salaries to staff ministries and departments not associated with the Ministry and state institutions in the areas controlled by ISIS terrorist gangs and reserve their account.
