Ahmed al-Maliki seeks asylum from authorities

According to an informed source, that the son of former deputy prime minister Ahmed Nouri al-Maliki submitted a request to the French authorities for the purpose of asylum. The source ((eighth day)) that "the French authorities refused to do so sharply despite the mediation of his father Nuri al-Maliki formally or personal, adding that Ahmed al-Maliki is seeking to get out of Iraq as soon as possible for fear of revenge legal issues Taatalv of corruption and waste of public money. The source noted that "after the French government refused to do so, Ahmed al-Maliki went to Finland for asylum, but so far not received approval. (AA)
