Basra crude exports to rise to almost record level in September

Shafaq News / Trade sources said on Thursday that Iraq plans to export an almost record amounts of Basra crude in September are in the context of increasing production of heavy crude.
Traders said, citing initial loading program to the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) Iraq allocated 3.017 million barrels per day of Basra crude for export in September, up from 2.52 million bpd in the previous month.
They said that Iraq will export a total 1.017 million barrels per day in September of Basra heavy crude, up from 600 thousand barrels per day in August, according to what Reuters reported , seen by Shafaq News.
