Maysan stresses need for 120 billion dinars to pay off corporate debt

Maysan / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network (IMN) - Maysan province announced its need for 120 billion dinars for the payment of financial dues arising from them in debt for companies implementing their projects.
The deputy governor of Maysan Nazim Kata's (IMN) - The "conservative need to 120 billion dinars to pay Mapzmtha of companies and contractors who implement projects that," noting that "it was the payment of the amount of 12 billion dinars of that debt spread over 10% for each company of the total amount" .
And the voice of the province of Maysan Council earlier, the new reforms relating to recruitment and the designation of officials, and recommendations relating to internal security package.
Kata said that "the amount paid value is very little compared to the debt the size of the total, resulting in unable to resume the work of companies in the project, which is still under way," pointing out that "the province in the process of approaching the Federal Ministry of Finance to launch other financial payments from the province's budget."
The majority of government projects parked in the province because of the financial liquidity crisis, as the law allows companies and contractors to stop work on projects delayed if the implementing agency to pay their financial dues for more than a month.
