Ft 40 deputies in the regional parliament of Kurdistan , Sunday, signatures to hold a special session to discuss the issue of presidency of the region with the approaching end of the mandate , Massoud Barzani .
The reporter said Alsumaria News in Erbil , said that 40 deputies in the Parliament of Kurdistan out of 111, presented the signatures to the Presidency in order to hold an extraordinary session.
He added that this comes from in order to discuss the issue of presidency of the region with the end of the mandate of the regional president Massoud Barzani approaching.
The Kurdistan region is witnessing a heated debate on the issue of the presidency of the Kurdistan region, where the Kurdistan Democratic Party, led by President of the Kurdistan region, Massoud Barzani, in a statement called for the extension of the mandate of the latter for another two years, as he emphasized his support for the parliamentary system in the region and the distribution of powers between the constitutional institutions.
