Reducing the number of members of the Iraqi government from 33 to 22

Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi issued Sunday, August 16 / August is Dioanaa reduce the number of Cabinet members to 22 members instead of 33.
According to the text it Diwani that the decision was based on the requirements of the public interest and in accordance with Article 78 of the Constitution and the delegation of the House of Representatives.
And it included the abolition of the posts of Vice Prime Minister, along with the abolition of ministerial positions in: Ministry of Human Rights, and the Ministry of State for Women's Affairs, and the Ministry of State for Provincial Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs and the Ministry of another country.
The decision to merge the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the integration of the Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Health, and the integration of the Ministry of Municipalities and the Ministry of Construction and Housing, and the integration of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities Ministry of Culture.
The decision came within the reforms initiated by Abadi on the back of a large popular demonstrations taking place in the cities of weeks since the Iraqi campaign, in protest against corruption and poor services.
Integrity Committee: To provide about 100 corruption file to the Public Prosecution
It announced the Integrity Committee in the Iraqi Council of Representatives Sunday about 100 corruption submitted a file to the public prosecutor, pointing out that the files condemns and current and former ministers.
Said committee member Abdul Karim Abtan channel "Sumerian", "The Integrity Commission has provided the first recent meal 99 corruption file to the public prosecutor of the Iraqi distributed over two meals included the first 60 files, and the second 33 dossier," explaining that "the files related to electricity, tourism and contracts phantom and armament and the secretariat Baghdad ".
