Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed on Monday, near the approval of the Federal Civil Service Law, noting that one of the paragraphs of the law requires that the Council of Ministers have a new salary scale, within a period of one month, and as pointed to the existence of a big mess in the distribution of salaries suggested that the law will achieve social justice among state employees in general.
A member of the parliamentary finance committee, Haitham al-Jubouri, in an interview for the "long", "We have read the federal civil service law first reading, and again, and will be presented for a vote," noting that, "One of the paragraphs of this law requires the prime minister and within a period of one month, writing New salaries peace and a unified, taking into account social justice. "
He said al-Jubouri, "we have set up a parliamentary committee, and the Committee of the Council of Ministers to write a new ladder of salaries, which will take into account as much as possible the employees' salaries zoom across the ministries and government departments, by raising the lower salaries, and cut allocations higher grades and converted the lower grades."
He continued that "the great disparity between the salaries of staff, causing major problems, and was born the desire to move from the lower to the upper ministries such as the Ministry of oil and the Ministry of Higher Education and others, which led to offload most of the ministries of higher education and experience campaign".
He pointed out that "the preparation of a new salary scale taking into account social justice, popular demand and a reference, we are trying to achieve as much as possible, to bridge the significant differences between generally state employees."
For its part, said Najiba Najiba, a member of the same committee, in an interview for the "long" that "there is chaos in the distribution of salaries, what impact negatively on the performance of many of the state institutions, and the creation of dissatisfaction and resentment from most of the staff."
She continued, "and we have adopted since the previous session several proposals to amend the salaries of employees, and we held meetings with the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, but has not been resolved for different reasons."
She Najib that "people's revolution on the government and parliament, which followed government reforms package, led to the announcement of the new salary scale, reduce class differences and equal among all workers in the state," pointing out that "the approval of the law will organize the work of the ministries and giving it a tinge of equity ".
She added that "the minimum years of ministries denied bonuses while since this matter was limited to employees of other ministries," assertive "The new salary scale will reduce the mechanism by turning the upper allocations to ministries that without it".
