Democratic: Barzani agree to stay his position until elections

BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network (IMN) - revealed the Kurdistan Democratic Party member Sirwan Abdullah, who led by President of Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani, Tuesday, for the majority of the political parties in the region agree on the survival of Barzani and his position until its powers to hold legislative elections in 2017.
He announced the Shura Council of the Kurdistan region, on Monday, that the regional president Massoud Barzani, will remain in office retains full powers until a political agreement or the holding of elections.
He said Abdullah's (IMN), "The meetings have been conducted over the past two days came Agreement semi-final that remain president Massoud Barzani of the Kurdistan region to its powers until the next elections."
He added that "the majority of parties participating and non-participating in the government and found that the region of interest in the current situation to keep Barzani, president of the province until elections are held," noting that "the situation will curse later formally as an agreement between the majority of the political parties."
Kurdish parties and sought to make another amendment in the Constitution of the region many of the materials most notably transforming the system of government in the region from the presidential to the parliamentary allowing Parliament naming the Kurdistan Regional Government and define the powers of the region's president.
