Abadi: there are those who do not want the development of Iraq

He stressed Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, Tuesday, that Iraq has a great opportunity to invest but some stand deduced from its development and putting obstacles in front of him, pointing out that he will not allow it and will use all means to stop such attempts.
Ebadi said in a statement issued today, on the sidelines of his visit to the West Qurna 2 field in Basra, "the Iraqi government does not spare no effort to protect the wealth of the Iraqi people, the oil-represented and to fulfill its responsibility to protect oil installations and workers of Iraqis and foreign companies specialized."
Abadi said that "Iraq has a great investment opportunities and is one of the more countries that have oil fields but some stand deduced from the development of Iraq and putting obstacles in front of him," adding that it "will not be allowed and will use all means to stop them and continued operation of oil production."
He explained that "there is importance to the continued increase in production to match the population growth and the need for services," calling on companies to "not fear threats after the issuance of the special protection of oil installations and workers commands."
A source in the Basra International Airport, reported on Tuesday (18 August 2015), that the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi arrived in the province are coming by plane from Baghdad International Airport, while preparing the provincial council to meet with him to discuss a number of crises that await solutions from the federal government, including salinity of the Shatt al-Arab crisis.
