Khamenei Meets Hakim and renewed emphasis on the unity of Iraq

Twilight News / Iranian Leader Ali Khamenei on Thursday called on Iraqis to close ranks and strengthen internal harmony and maintenance of national gains, according to the transfer of the Information Office of the Supreme Islamic Council. Khamenei made the call during a meeting with Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Council stressed the "preserve the unity of Iraq and miss the opportunity to agendas aimed to provoke discord between the sons of one people." And the transfer of an official statement from Khamenei's emphasis on the "need to focus on the real enemy of Bdaash and provide the necessary services to citizens," praising "the pivotal role of the religious authority in Iraq." He briefed al-Hakim, according to the statement, Khamenei "on the overall developments on the Iraqi arena and the demands of the demonstrators," stressing "the commitment to the Constitution and national cohesion and coherence of the National Alliance and work hard to meet the demands of citizens."
