Maliki is still Iraq’s vice president: media advisor

A media advisor to former Iraqi PM Nouri al-Maliki has stated that the official is still Iraq’s vice president and he has not received any official order to leave his post.
Abbas Mosavi told AIN news agency that Maliki, a leader of State of Law Coalition, is still a vice to Iraqi President Fuad Massoum and has been officially received after his return from Iran.
Mossawi added that Maliki, Iyad Allawi and Osama al-Nujaifi, three Iraqi vice presidents, have not received any order to leave their posts and are continuing to serve Iraq as vice presidents.
The advisor added that his chief is greatly worried about serving people and is not going after posts as he is State of Law Coalition leader and al-Dawa Party Secretary General and he would serve Iraqi people in whatever positions.
