Chairman of the Council of Nineveh calls for cutting off the road linking between Iraq and Syria

Head of the Nineveh Provincial Council Bashar Kiki to called on Saturday for cutting the road linking between Iraq and Syria to besiege Daash elements in Mosul and cut ways of their supplies.
Kiki told the National Iraqi News Agency / Nina / that one of the main reasons for the recovery of Daash in Iraq is the situation in Syria,” stressing that the road between Iraq and Syria is still passable and controlled by Daash.
Kiki called on the Iraqi government and the international community “to speed up the liberation of the city of Mosul from the control of the organization Daash by enabling the people of the city and coordination between Baghdad, Erbil and the United States of America” ./ End
