Hamoudi: The Country’s Economy Is threatened, The Private Sector And Investment Must Be Enabled

BAGHDAD / NINA / A member of the Presidency of the Council of Representatives, Humam Hamoudi confirmed the importance of supporting the private sector and investment, and the development of agriculture, industry and tourism, adding that the country’s economy is now eagerly threatened.
He, during a meeting with the relevant committee in the economic aspect of the Iraqi elites and competencies Organization, according to a statement his office, called on House’s committees to fulfill their role in activating the national and private sectors to support the wheel of the national economy. ”
The statement quoted him as saying: “depending on oil resources and neglecting other available economic resources in the country is a big mistake,” confirming: “the importance of support the private sector and investment to contribute in the development of the economy and reduce the unemployment rate in the country.”
He stressed “the need for a comprehensive and thoughtful economic system and balanced and clear monetary policy, fits Iraq’s natural and human resources, and take into account the fluctuations in oil prices, and the existing deficit in the budget” ./ End
