Jubouri: We seek to take advantage of the European Union experiences to improve economy

Shafaq News / Iraqi Parliament Speaker Salim al –Jubouri said on Wednesday that Iraq is seeking to benefit from the EU’s experiences in the field of business development and improve the country’s economy.
This came during a meeting in his office with the Ambassador of the European Union , Jana Hapaschkova on the occasion of ending her tasks in Iraq, according to a statement of the Presidency of the Parliament received by Shafaq News.
During the meeting, they discussed ways of continuing cooperation between Iraq and the European Union in all fields, especially at the relief and humanitarian level and support Iraq in fighting terrorism.
Jubouri confirmed that the relations between Iraq and the European Union for both sides are important and could turn to more openness on the EU countries in order to achieve progress in the field of reconstruction and development of various sectors in the country.
He explained that Parliament is looking forward to further cooperation for the advancement of the legislative institution as a representative of the people, stressing that Iraq sought to benefit from the EU’s experience in the field of development, business and the advancement of the country’s economy, praising the role of ambassador to deepen ties and seeking to build bridges of mutual cooperation between the two sides.
For her part, Hapaschkova expressed the desire of EU countries to cooperate with Iraq and provide all means of support to bring it back to exercise its vital role in the region.
